libreCMC v1.5.7
Changelog:
The libreCMC project is proud to announce the availability of libreCMC v1.5.7. This release of libreCMC provides various fixes, including:
- luci : Removed jsmin due to license issues (JSON License). Luci now uses the jsmin Python module to minify its JavaScript and must be installed prior to building libreCMC.
- Linux-libre
4.14.248-gnu1
: Addresses firmware / deblobbing issues[1]. mac80211
: Updated 4.19 backports addresses CVE-2020-3702- OpenSSL
1.1.1l
: Addresses CVE-2021-3711,CVE-2021-3712
Because jsmin is considered non-free and the deblobbing issues with older linux-libre kernels, all prior libreCMC images have been pulled from the libreCMC site / archive. Users are strongly urged to update to v1.5.7+ to continue to be able to use the package repository without any issues.
The next release of libreCMC is scheduled for release on January 1st, unless there are other critical CVEs. As always, please report any bugs using the libreCMC mailing lists.
